Data We Do Not Collect

ClickTrack Pro does not collect your name, email address, location, device identifiers, or any other personal information. There are no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising.

Data Stored on Your Device

Song presets, practice sessions, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not accessible to us.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud on your device, ClickTrack Pro uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your presets and practice sessions across your own Apple devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is accessible only to you — ClickTrack Pro cannot read, access, or share it. If you are not signed in to iCloud, all data remains stored locally on your device only. Apple's iCloud privacy policy governs data stored in iCloud.

Apple Music

If you choose to search for a song, ClickTrack Pro sends your search query to the iTunes Search API (Apple) to retrieve song metadata such as title, artist, and album artwork. No personal information is included in these requests. ClickTrack Pro does not access, play, or store your Apple Music library or listening history.

Apple Watch

If you use the Apple Watch companion app, tempo and settings are synced directly between your iPhone and Apple Watch over your local network using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This data is not transmitted to any external server.

Widgets and Live Activity

ClickTrack Pro offers Home Screen widgets (Metronome Control, Preset Launcher, Practice Stats), Lock Screen widgets, a Live Activity, and a Dynamic Island indicator. These display your current tempo, time signature, playing status, active preset name, today's practice time, and practice streak. This data is shared between the app and its widget extension using Apple's App Group feature, which stores it in a shared container on your device. It is never transmitted to any external server. The Live Activity and Dynamic Island show real-time metronome status while the metronome is running and are dismissed automatically when the metronome stops.

Instrument Tuner

The tuner feature uses your device's microphone to detect pitch in real time. Audio is processed entirely on your device using Apple's AVAudioEngine framework and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. Microphone access is only active while the tuner is open and listening.

Band Sync

The Band Sync feature uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework to sync tempo with nearby devices over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. No internet connection is used. Your device's name (as set in iOS Settings) is broadcast locally so that other nearby ClickTrack Pro users can identify and connect to your session. This name is only visible to devices in your immediate vicinity while Band Sync is active and is never sent to any server.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. ClickTrack Pro does not see or store your payment information.

Siri and Shortcuts

ClickTrack Pro supports Siri and the Apple Shortcuts app through Apple's App Intents framework. All intent logic runs on your device. When you speak a command, your voice is processed by Apple's Siri infrastructure according to Apple's Privacy Policy — ClickTrack Pro never receives your voice recording. The data returned by Siri commands (tempo, practice stats, preset names, etc.) is drawn from information already stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to any external server.

AirPlay

ClickTrack Pro allows you to route audio output to AirPlay-compatible devices using Apple's AVRoutePickerView. Audio routing is managed entirely by iOS and the selected AirPlay device. ClickTrack Pro does not transmit any data to external servers in connection with AirPlay.

Third-Party Services

ClickTrack Pro does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services.

Children's Privacy

ClickTrack Pro does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
